How to Add a Guitar Strap to an Acoustic Guitar

I wanted to take the time to talk to you about how you can add a guitar strap to an acoustic guitar. A lot of people think this is really complicated, but it isn’t. I know that some of you are going to have the hardware already on the guitar. In that case, you’re not going to have anything to do. You just snap the strap on and you’re ready to go. The problem is that a lot of guitars are designed to be played sitting down. This means that they don’t’ have the hardware on them. This means that you’re going to have to pay someone to add them or you’re going to have to add them yourself.

Adding them yourself isn’t that hard. The first time can be a little scary, but it isn’t that hard. The first thing you need to do is go down to your local music store and pick up the hardware for a guitar strap. It should be relatively simple, consisting of knobs and screws for them. The hard part comes when you use the drill. Get a drill bit that is slightly smaller than the screw you have for the hardware. You go with the smaller sizeFeature Articles, so the screw will actually hold in the hole.

At this point you’re going to drill a hole into the head of the guitar and the bottom of the guitar. It is really easy doing the head because you basically can’t mess it up. The bottom requires you to be very careful. You must drill into a solid board and not the area where the sounds are produced. At this point all you have to do is screw in the hardware and you’re ready to go.
